Available Options

Traditional metal braces involve cemented brackets and dental glue. We will adjust them every few weeks. We use elastic or rubber bands attached to the brackets to correct an overbite or underbite. These braces can get in the way of brushing and flossing, however, and may dig into the gums and cheeks. It’s also very important to wear your retainer as directed once the braces come off, since your teeth will begin to revert back if you don’t. A mouth guard may also be needed to participate in contact sports.
